What this dataset contains

The 2025 CEB digest reports customer accounts and electricity sales for 2024 and 2025 by CEB distribution province and tariff category. It also reports CEB billed sales revenue and a separate LECO tariff table covering sales and accounts. Source division totals, tariff-group totals and their detailed subcategories are retained as separate observations.

How it is used here

Compare customer accounts across CEB distribution areas, inspect sales in the main tariff groups for each utility, or examine CEB billed revenue within its own geographic or tariff breakdown.

What it cannot tell you

CEB distribution provinces are utility operating areas, not the nine administrative provinces. Accounts count service accounts, not people, households or electrification rates. CEB totals include bulk supply to LECO; LECO retail sales and accounts are reported separately and must not be added to CEB totals as though they were independent. CEB records one aggregate account each for bulk LECO supply and street lighting. Tariff-group and division totals overlap their detailed rows; geographic and tariff tables also overlap. Revenue is nominal billed sales, not cash collected, and changes reflect tariffs as well as use. Sales are rounded, so components can differ slightly from totals. Street-lighting sales are estimated; undefined dashes remain null.
