What this dataset contains
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka continuity table reports one year-end row with domestic, foreign and total central-government debt in LKR millions and as shares of GDP. Source status flags and nulls are preserved.
How it is used here
The chart follows total central-government debt as a share of GDP across the published series.
What it cannot tell you
This is central-government debt, not a broader public-sector debt measure. Methodology, debt-perimeter, classification and restructuring breaks—especially from 2022 onward—limit direct comparison; 2024 and 2025 are provisional.
