What this dataset contains
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka compiles a Land Valuation Indicator for Colombo District, with residential, commercial and industrial sub-indices (2017 H1=100). The platform keeps one row per half-year and sub-index. 2025 H2 values come from the official 25 February 2026 press table; earlier points come from the CBSL Economic Data Library series.
How it is used here
The chart follows all four sub-indices across the published halves. The table is Colombo District only.
What it cannot tell you
This is a Colombo District valuation indicator, not a transaction-price or island-wide house-price index. The series was revised in June 2022 and should not be mixed with pre-revision publications.
