What this dataset contains

DCS production-cost figures for ten financial years from 2015/16 to 2024/25. Tea and rubber are quoted in Sri Lankan rupees per kilogram; coconut is quoted per 1,000 nuts. Financial-year labels are retained.

How it is used here

Compare tea and rubber cost trends on their per-kilogram basis, or view coconut production costs with its separate unit.

What it cannot tell you

These are nominal production costs, not market prices, earnings or profits. Coconut uses a different product unit. The summary table does not provide cost-component breakdowns, district variation, sample details or inflation adjustment. A financial year must not be presented as a calendar-year observation.
