What this dataset contains
The Department of Census and Statistics Statistical Abstract reports employed people across 17 Labour Force Survey industry groups. The platform keeps one row per year and industry group and derives each group’s share from the reported annual total.
How it is used here
The chart ranks the 17 industry groups by employed people in 2024.
What it cannot tell you
The 2024 values are provisional. The national industry groups do not show geographic variation or conditions within each group.
