What this dataset contains

DCS food-balance figures for 2018–2025 and daily nutrient availability for 2019–2025. The rice table retains its population, paddy production, total supply, net food supply and annual rice availability per person. Nutrient records distinguish vegetable, animal and total sources of energy, protein and fat. The source reports no 2025 rice-availability figures or nutrient figures; it says 2025 nutrient data was unavailable as of 15 September 2026.

How it is used here

Compare rice availability per person through 2024 or track daily food-energy availability. Use the original units to distinguish national supply totals from per-person measures.

What it cannot tell you

Food-balance availability is not observed food consumption, dietary quality or an estimate of individual nutritional status. The source defines total supply as production plus imports minus exports plus stock changes, and net food supply after deductions for seed, waste, animal feed and manufacturing. National means conceal distribution across households and regions. Totals may differ from the sums of rounded components. Figures from separate crop-production tables can use different precision or revisions. Missing 2025 availability figures are retained as blanks and excluded from the default charts.
