What this dataset contains
DCS expenditure-side national accounts for 2021–2025, at current prices within the 2015-base national-accounts framework. Thirteen reported items include consumption and its components, gross capital formation and its components, exports, imports, the external balance and GDP at market prices. Each has a nominal value in LKR million and a published percentage of GDP. The source marks 2023–2024 revised and 2025 provisional.
How it is used here
Compare nominal component values or the reported shares of consumption, capital formation and the external balance. Keep component levels separate from percentage shares.
What it cannot tell you
Current prices mean nominal amounts; the 2015 national-accounts base does not make these inflation-adjusted values or a 2015=100 index. Parentheses denote negative external balances and shares. Consumption and capital totals overlap their subcomponents, while the external balance already subtracts imports from exports; summing every row double-counts GDP. Small differences between displayed component sums and totals are retained as published rounding. The table is national and cannot establish district output, real growth or household welfare.
