What this dataset contains
This layer contains 1,045 named healthcare places mapped in OpenStreetMap, including hospitals and clinics. It provides usable locations for broad access questions when no official national facility map has been ingested.
How it is used here
The points can be viewed on their own or alongside population, roads and transport. That makes the layer useful for forming questions about geographic access, not for making claims about service capacity.
What it cannot tell you
This is not the Ministry of Health facility register. Places may be missing, duplicated, closed or classified inconsistently, and the layer does not tell us about beds, staff, services, cost or opening hours.
