What this dataset contains
The Ministry of Health Indoor Morbidity and Mortality Return workbook reports one row per IMMR/ICD disease group. The platform keeps live discharges for 2024 and deaths for 2023 as distinct fields and treats blank death cells as zero in line with the workbook totals.
How it is used here
The chart ranks the 20 disease groups with the most reported live discharges in 2024.
What it cannot tell you
Inpatient events are not population prevalence. Discharges and deaths refer to different years and must not be read as a matched-period comparison.
