What this dataset contains
The Department of Census and Statistics Statistical Abstract reports annual Labour Force Survey aggregates for the household population aged 15 and over. The platform preserves the published counts and rates in one national row per year.
How it is used here
The chart shows the annual unemployment rate; the same table also contains labour-force participation, employment and population outside the labour force.
What it cannot tell you
The 2024 observation is provisional. These are national aggregates and cannot describe district or neighbourhood labour-market differences.
