What this dataset contains
The platform normalizes the two Central Bank of Sri Lanka category workbooks into one national row per month and trade flow. Values are kept in USD millions and rounded to the workbooks’ published precision.
How it is used here
The chart compares monthly exports and imports from 2019 onward; the full table retains the series back to 2007.
What it cannot tell you
Observations from January 2024 onward are provisional. The source classification changed in 2010, which can create a break in long-run comparisons.
