What this dataset contains
Statistical Abstract 2025 Table 7.3 reports new registrations by class and fuel. The platform keeps one national row per year, class and fuel, including the total. Double-dots are stored as null. The 2022 published total is one vehicle above the sum of published cells; that residual is left explicit.
How it is used here
The chart follows the national total. Class and fuel remain in the table. This is not a district map.
What it cannot tell you
These are new registrations, not the stock already on the register. Road-length tables 7.1 and 7.2 were not published at this URL and are not inferred.
