What this dataset contains
Annual national figures for 2022–2025 compiled by DCS from the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission. Measures cover wireline and wireless local-loop services, cellular mobile subscriptions, telephone density with and without data-only services, fixed internet subscribers and mobile broadband subscriptions.
How it is used here
Track mobile broadband subscriptions or fixed internet subscribers over time. Telephone density uses services per 100 people, while the other measures count lines, subscriptions or subscribers.
What it cannot tell you
Subscriptions are not unique people or households, and overlapping service categories must not be added together. The source flags mobile broadband subscriptions as rebased without specifying the rebasing date or method. Wireless local-loop counts include data-only and LTE services from 2021 onward. National totals do not show coverage, connection speed or geographic access. The 2022 data-inclusive density is printed as a dash and is retained without an exact numeric value.
