What this dataset contains
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka republishes monthly earnings estimates based on the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority survey. The platform keeps one national row per month and flags the May 2026 methodology revision, which SLTDA applied retrospectively from January 2026.
How it is used here
The chart follows monthly earnings from 2019 onward. 2026 observations are provisional and use the revised method.
What it cannot tell you
January 2026 onward is not directly comparable with 2009–2025. These are survey-based earnings estimates, not audited operator receipts, and they are not tourist-arrival counts.
