What this dataset contains
This layer contains 24 route features tagged for hiking in OpenStreetMap. It provides a small, reproducible starting point for viewing mapped trails across the country.
How it is used here
The live map shows the routes in their geographic setting and can be combined with attractions, terrain-related features and roads.
What it cannot tell you
Coverage is sparse. A mapped route may be informal, closed, hazardous or incorrectly aligned, while many real trails may be absent. The data is not a safety guide and does not include current conditions or permissions.
