What this dataset contains
Figures for eleven vocational and technical training institutions or institutional groups in 2024 and 2025. The tables cover student intake, completions and departures; government grants, fees and other income, capital and recurrent expenditure; and centres, courses, academic and non-academic employees. CGTTI course modes and the separate NAITA special industrial/on-the-job row are retained. Finance and institutional-capacity figures for 2025 are provisional.
How it is used here
Compare institutional intake, centres, staff or financial measures using the same definition and year. Inspect CGTTI full-time and part-time training separately from its total.
What it cannot tell you
Annual intake, completion and departure counts are not a matched cohort; their ratios cannot establish completion or dropout rates. The special NAITA row may overlap its main institutional row, and CGTTI course modes sum to its total, so do not add all programme rows. Printing Institute completions in 2025 are incomplete because results for 447 students were unreleased. Missing financial and capacity cells remain unavailable; a printed 0.00 government grant is retained as zero. Currency amounts are nominal LKR million, not cost per student. The source does not provide campus locations, course duration, qualification levels or graduate employment outcomes. The university-degree table is outside this dataset.
